Destroy green hair algae

Algae are always present present in our aquariums. Either they are taking over the tank or simply waiting for the appropriate condition so show up. Algae can not be completely eliminated from the aquarium no matter how big the effort.

Our goal is to have a nice looking aquarium aquarium. To achieve this goal, we need control algae grow by limiting what they need to grow.

There is also many chemicals that can be use against algae but do we really want to use chemicals in a living ecosystem. Those chemicals does not only harm algae but also all living cratures, plants and bacteria in the aquarium. Do we realy want to risk all that?

Metal Gone has proven to be an excellent mineral to

All things algae need to grow. By using Metal Gone in fresh and salt water aquarium, algae get weaker and are easyer to control.

WEAK ALGAE CAN BE... EATEN

Yes that's right! Metal Gone weakens the algae and allow Right Now Bacteria to consume them. All you need is to add Metal gone in your filter and pour Right Now Bacteria in your tank. Then, simply keep doing weekly water change syphon death algae. Within a month, your tank will becomes nice and clean of any algae.

But remember, algae will allways be present in our aquarium. Excess of nutrients will trigger them again so keep on your maintenance routine and make sure they can't grow back. If some help with this is needed, simply keep small quantities of Metal Gone in your filter to prevent pollution build up.

How to destroy Green Hair Algae using Metal gone and Right Now Bacteria:

1. In a canister filter put in one pound of rinsed Metal Gone per 30 gallon.

2. The flow rate does not matter but be sure to have the water again coming on top of the water.

3. Do a water change every two weeks (25%)

4. While doing the water change, be sure to vacuum the gravel and also any rocks that have hair algae on them. Do NOT scrub the rock.

5. In about one month, you will see a vast difference. Then as you see the hair algae gone you then wait another month with the Metal Gone working and you will no longer have any hair algae cells remaining.
